weekly update Aug 18th
Turlock Youth Soccer first games:
The 2018 Season Starts Saturday Aug 18th and Players, Parents, Coaches and Referees are excited to get the season started, lets go!
The last few team’s uniforms can be picked up by the coaches at the Complex Saturday morning.
The schedules posted are for Aug 18th and 25th only.
Picture days are Sept 8th and 15th, the schedules for when your pictures are to be taken will be posted the first week of Sept.
The food trailer is not going to be at the complex this year. TYSA will have water, Gatorade and some snacks available to purchase every weekend.
We do not have any local vendors to come to the complex and make additional food options available for this weekend, so please plan accordingly.
We are working on getting them approved and scheduled. Therefore, to be clear “only water, Gatorade, and some snacks” are available for sale by TYSA for Aug 18th.
The TYSA board wishes you and your players a fun and successful season.
Here are a few answers to questions you may have:
When is my team playing and on what field?
Go to www.turlockyouthsoccer.org and look at the Team Central tab.
A map of the field layout can be found under the coaching tab.
What is my team or team number?
Your coach has the answer to this one.I have not heard from my coach, what should I do?
Email us at
[email protected]
will get you connected with your coach.
Why are there not enough coaches?
There are over 200 coaches (volunteers) with TYSA that give their time to our recreational soccer community each year and we appreciate them very much. Coaches signed up and have every intention to coach this year, but they have full time jobs with changing schedules and this sometimes prevents them from coaching. Some coaches have family issues and cannot continue to put the time in to coach. This is just a few recent issues as there are many more reasons why we do not have extra coaches ready to step in. TYSA says “Thank You” parents for stepping up and sacrificing your time to coaching our kids, can you take a minute and do the same.
What if my child’s uniform is too small (Or too large)?
Talk to your coach about changing among your child’s teammates, if that does not work out go to the info/referee booth on Saturday.
What if my child’s shorts are too small (Or too large)? Bring the shorts to the info/referee booth on Saturday and we can exchange them.
Can my child play without shinguards or cleats?
Players must wear shinguards with the sock covering them. Shoes (no sandals) are required (cleats are recommended).
Where can I ask questions?
First stop is the Website – www.turlockyouthsoccer.org
If you cannot find what you need there email
[email protected]
Or go to the info/referee booth on Saturday at the Turlock sports complex.
