Competitive Soccer
TYSA competitive soccer is soccer at a high level. Essentially, Competive Soccer is for players with advanced skills and ambition to excel in the sport of soccer. It is sometimes referred to as Division One (D1), Travel Ball, club team, travel team, select team, or even a premier team.
TYSA's team is the Turlock Tornadoes.
Competitive soccer is played nearly year round. At times, games may require out of state travel. Competitive Soccer is further refined with the training from licensed coaches and trainers. Players receive advanced instruction, drills, and conditioning. Exposure to high level team play assists in proper preparation and conditioning for players who may have their sights set on a college soccer scholarship or even playing for the US National or Olympic teams.
